Hayley Rogers

Hayley Rogers

Registered Manager

I chose this job because I love helping people and making a difference.

I started working for Blue Angel Care in September 2018 as a Care Manager and opened up the Basingstoke location. I am now the Registered Manager of our Basingstoke and Farnborough, Farnham and Fleet location. I chose this job because I love helping people and making a difference. I am a real people person so knowing that I have made a difference to someone along the way makes me truly happy. I love organisation and that helps me endlessly in my role. When managing and mentoring staff, I love watching people grow and overcoming challenges. I am a mum of 2, family time is precious so making memories with my family is a must. My son is football mad so whether this is standing on the sideline, taking the children out for days out, walking the dogs – it’s all precious to me.

Care Manager

I truly believe that most people want to be looked after in the comfort of their own homes and this led me to my journey at Blue Angel Care.

My journey in care started at home, looking after my grandparents and ensuring they received the support that was vital to keeping them safe and at home. In 2018 I worked as a HCA in the hospital, I soon found out that this wasn’t the place for me. I truly believe that most people want to be looked after in the comfort of their own homes and this led me to my journey at Blue Angel Care. Being able to deliver a high standard of care to people in their homes is one feeling I can’t describe. Shortly after starting as a care giver I was promoted to care specialist, and I am now a Care Manager. I take pride and importance in my job role and am dedicated to ensuring our customers and staff are happy and well looked after. I do everything possible to really understand the needs of both clients and staff and ensure these needs are met. I take great joy in being a part of such a well led team.

Training and Development Officer

I started as a senior care giver and after a year I became the Training and Development officer which I am really enjoying.

I came into the care industry after my Dad passed away, as I admired his carers and knew I could make a difference to someone’s life. After being with a few care companies, I came to Blue Angel Care, instantly felt like a part of the family, and knew I would be happy. From my first day, I have been supported by the entire team. Nothing is too much, the clients are amazing and hearing their life stories are so admiring and very interesting. I started as a senior care giver, and after a year, I became the Training and Development officer, which I am really enjoying, it’s so nice seeing the new carers grow into their roles, and I feel proud I have been a part of this. I am a mum of 4 and a nanny of 4, which I am very proud of. I enjoy watching all the motorsports. I also love watching my boys playing football at the weekend, my family life is very important to me and Blue Angel Care has ensured I can work around my family life.

Sarah

Sarah

Senior Care Giver

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’ve been a care giver at Blue Angel for almost 2 years. Over the last year, I have progressed to a senior care giver. I absolutely love my job. I thoroughly enjoy all the time I spend with our clients during visits and reviews, and I enjoy helping new carers with their field-based training. Every day is different and very fulfilling; it’s a joy to help people in any way that I can. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends, and I also enjoy watching a good thriller or comedy.

Emma Denby

Emma Denby

Care Specialist

I started working for Blue Angel Care on March 1, 2024, and I have learned so much. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know our clients with the support and guidance of a fantastic team behind me. From a young age, I always wanted to work in the care industry, aiming to be a nurse or paramedic. After school, I worked for the police and eventually became Regional Office Manager of the Crime Operational Support Team for the South of England, where I stayed for 18 years. After leaving due to relocation, I spent years raising my children. During this time, I lost my 3-year-old niece to cancer and nursed my partner through his remission. This experience reaffirmed my decision to go into care. On April 18, 2024, I became a Senior Care Giver for Blue Angel Care. I enjoy every aspect of my role and feel rewarded for making a difference in someone’s life. Outside work, I support my daughters’ horse riding and gymnastics achievements. I aim to bring positive energy to our clients, ensuring they receive the best care and a happy day. The reward they give me is invaluable.

Caroline

Caroline

Senior Care Giver

My name is Caroline I’ve worked in domiciliary care for over 10+ years, I came into care purely by chance from recommendation from a past work colleague.

My working background is in child care and still is, I work 2 days as a Pre-school Practitioner and 3-4 days as a senior care giver. I started working for Blue Angel Care in February 2021 as a care giver, I was offered the position of senior care giver, and firstly I refused as I liked being out in the field with the clients and I didn’t want anything to get in the way of that, but when I was asked again I accepted, and I haven’t looked back. I feel I have become more confident in my job role, learning more about care plans, reviews etc and getting around on the computer (not my strongest asset); when I see the clients they’re always pleased to see me, and I give them 100%+ as each and everyone deserves the best and that’s what we strive to do. Whatever role I’m doing I know that if I need it I can get help and support, no question is a silly question, I feel I’m heard and taken notice of. In my spare time I care for my partner and we have our son who’s in his late teens living at home, I do a lot of creating activities for Pre-school and if possible baking, which the office staff are often very grateful when they see me bringing them in.

Gemma

Gemma

Senior Care Giver

I joined Blue Angel in March 2023 after deciding I wanted a career that involved helping others and making a positive impact.

In January, I was promoted to senior care giver. Being a senior care giver gives me more opportunities to learn and develop my skills further from doing care plans to supporting new and existing members of staff. Our clients are fantastic and can always put a smile on my face. I love being able to assist clients on days out, whether at the cinema or watching a local football game. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my nephew play football for his local team.

Elena Lawrance

Elena Lawrance

Care Specialist

Hello, my name is Elena, and I work as a Care Specialist for
Farnborough, Farnham and Fleet.

I began working for Blue Angel Care as a care giver in October 2023. I unfortunately had to resign due to personal reasons in December; however, I was warmly welcomed back in April 2024 to return as a Care Specialist. I have always had a passion for caring for and looking after others. In 2019, my partner was sadly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. This had a dramatic impact on my life as I willingly became his full-time carer to ensure he had 24-hour care and support. From this, I gained first-hand experience and was taught how to manage and maintain medication and medical equipment. This enhanced my drive even more to have a career in healthcare, as I had witnessed just how much working in this sector can benefit individuals as well as families. I have always hoped to find a job that I enjoy attending, and with Blue Angel Care, I have most definitely found that. All our clients never fail to put a smile on my face, and the connections I have built with our clients are so heartwarming and rewarding. I look forward to what is next in my journey at Blue Angel Care.
