Hayley

Hayley

Registered Manager

I chose this job because I love helping people and making a difference.

I started working for Blue Angel Care in September 2018 as a Care Manager and opened up the Basingstoke location. I am now the Registered Manager of our Basingstoke and Farnborough, Farnham and Fleet location. I chose this job because I love helping people and making a difference. I am a real people person so knowing that I have made a difference to someone along the way makes me truly happy. I love organisation and that helps me endlessly in my role. When managing and mentoring staff, I love watching people grow and overcoming challenges. I am a mum of 2, family time is precious so making memories with my family is a must. My son is football mad so whether this is standing on the sideline, taking the children out for days out, walking the dogs – it’s all precious to me.

Care Manager

I truly believe that most people want to be looked after in the comfort of their own homes and this led me to my journey at Blue Angel Care.

My journey in care started at home, looking after my grandparents and ensuring they received the support that was vital to keeping them safe and at home. In 2018 I worked as a HCA in the hospital, I soon found out that this wasn’t the place for me. I truly believe that most people want to be looked after in the comfort of their own homes and this led me to my journey at Blue Angel Care. Being able to deliver a high standard of care to people in their homes is one feeling I can’t describe. Shortly after starting as a care giver I was promoted to care specialist, and I am now a Care Manager. I take pride and importance in my job role and am dedicated to ensuring our customers and staff are happy and well looked after. I do everything possible to really understand the needs of both clients and staff and ensure these needs are met. I take great joy in being a part of such a well led team.

Rachel

Training and Development Officer

I started as a senior care giver and after a year I became the Training and Development officer which I am really enjoying.

I came into the care industry after my Dad passed away, as I admired his carers and knew I could make a difference to someone’s life. After being with a few care companies, I came to Blue Angel Care, instantly felt like a part of the family, and knew I would be happy. From my first day, I have been supported by the entire team. Nothing is too much, the clients are amazing and hearing their life stories are so admiring and very interesting. I started as a senior care giver, and after a year, I became the Training and Development officer, which I am really enjoying, it’s so nice seeing the new carers grow into their roles, and I feel proud I have been a part of this. I am a mum of 4 and a nanny of 4, which I am very proud of. I enjoy watching all the motorsports. I also love watching my boys playing football at the weekend, my family life is very important to me and Blue Angel Care has ensured I can work around my family life.

Sarah

Sarah

Senior Care Giver

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’ve been a care giver at Blue Angel for almost 2 years. Over the last year, I have progressed to a senior care giver. I absolutely love my job. I thoroughly enjoy all the time I spend with our clients during visits and reviews, and I enjoy helping new carers with their field-based training. Every day is different and very fulfilling; it’s a joy to help people in any way that I can. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends, and I also enjoy watching a good thriller or comedy.

Madison

Madison

Senior Care Giver

I have been a care giver for Blue Angel care since late 2022. Choosing to pursue a career in care was an easy decision for me. I believe to be successful in this industry you must be patient, kind, and empathetic.

One of my favourite things about this job is the relationships you form with your clients. You don’t realise the impact you have on somebody’s day by just giving that extra little bit of support. There’s not a day that goes by when I’m not excited to see every single one of our lovely clients. Community visits are my favourite visits to carry out. Having the ability to get someone out for a walk, a coffee, or even to complete their weekly shop gives this amazing feeling of fulfilment. I have recently taken on a senior role. I hope to assist new and existing carers, in becoming the best working version of themselves, ensuring we give our clients the highest quality of care possible.

Emma

Emma

Senior Care Giver

I started working for Blue Angel Care on March 1, 2024, and I have learned so much. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know our clients with the support and guidance of a fantastic team behind me. From a young age, I always wanted to work in the care industry, aiming to be a nurse or paramedic. After school, I worked for the police and eventually became Regional Office Manager of the Crime Operational Support Team for the South of England, where I stayed for 18 years. After leaving due to relocation, I spent years raising my children. During this time, I lost my 3-year-old niece to cancer and nursed my partner through his remission. This experience reaffirmed my decision to go into care. On April 18, 2024, I became a Senior Care Giver for Blue Angel Care. I enjoy every aspect of my role and feel rewarded for making a difference in someone’s life. Outside work, I support my daughters’ horse riding and gymnastics achievements. I aim to bring positive energy to our clients, ensuring they receive the best care and a happy day. The reward they give me is invaluable.
