Meet the basingstoke, hampshire Home Care Team

I started working for Blue Angel Care in September 2018 as a Care Manager and opened the Basingstoke location. I am now the Registered Manager of our Basingstoke, Farnborough, Farnham, and Fleet locations.

I chose this job because I love helping people and making a difference. I am a real people person, so knowing I have made a difference for someone along the way makes me truly happy. I love organisation, and that helps me endlessly in my role. When managing and mentoring staff, I love watching people grow and overcoming challenges. I am a mum of 2, family time is precious so making memories with my family is a must. My son is football-mad, so it’s all precious to me, whether this is standing on the sideline, taking the children out for days, or walking the dogs.

I started at Blue Angel Care in June 2020 as a Senior Care giver and am now the Care Coordinator.

The reason I started care was because I used to look after my Grandma at home, and after she sadly passed away, I wanted to give back, and I have now been working in care for 8 years. I started at Blue Angel Care in June 2020 as a Senior Carer, but 2 months later, I came into the office and progressed to Care Specialist. Soon after, I became Care Coordinator in October 2020. I love every part of my job, and I love seeing people progress through the company. Being a care coordinator, I work hard to ensure the continuity of care for our clients and to have the best-suited rounds for the carers. I love the team I work with, and it’s never a dull day. When I am not working, I spend time with my horses, I help my friend when she’s going out competing and also enjoy going to car shows/racing with my car.

Hi, my name is Shannon, and I am the Training and Development Officer and Recruitment Officer at Blue Angel Care.

I have worked with Blue Angel since September 2022, I have always worked in care but wanted a change of scenery, I came to Blue Angel via care-friends and the rest is history. I have grown so much since being here; I came on as a care giver and met so many lovely people; in April 2023, I progressed to Training And Development Officer, and I have since then taken on the role of Recruitment Officer alongside, and it has broadened my knowledge. Blue Angel, as a whole, is a hub for progression, and everyone is so lovely I couldn’t ask for a better place to work. When not working, I love a good shopping trip and spending time with my two boys, sausage dog and tortoise!

My name is Monika and I have been enjoying working with Blue Angel Care since 2019.

I have two children, and I live in Basingstoke with my youngest son. My job is not just a job for me because I enjoy helping everyone. I started working as a Senior care giver in 2020, and since April 2023, I have been working as a Care Specialist in our Basingstoke office. My role is to support our clients and care givers in solving their problems and meeting their needs. I am extremely happy to work in our large Blue Angel family where everyone strives to do their best for our clients and their families. I am excited about the future and look forward to furthering my education and gaining more experience both in the office and in the field.
